Why would a friend steal from a friend?

Why would a friend steal from a friend??
One of my friends has stolen make up, jewelry from me and a couple of my other friends...why??

Friend?
Obviously they aren't a friend at all if they are stealing from you. Its more less someone who hangs out with you and takes stuff that you have and they want. Generally it leads to them using you.

ok, maybe she cant afford her own or she judt liked the one that you had. maybe she likes the thrill of theft. also, this could be a possibility: there is this guy who get thousands of postcards every year with other people's secrets on them. they write their secrets and sent them to him. one of them said 'I steal things from my friends to remind me of how much I love them.' this could describe yur friend. DONT jump to conclusions, just ask her calmly to explain herself.

I had a friend who told me to buy a bag of chips bymyself without her and when I came back she touched some of my stuff. I can learn from my mistake to never leave a friend in my apartment by herself otherwise my stuff will be gone.
Don't trust anybody call your Parents first to ask them if it's ok to leave your friend in the apartment or the house.
Then it will be ok for you to go to the store with or without your friends.
