Why wont my boyfriend take his shirt off infront of me?

Well, it’s not such a problem.

Many guys don’t like showing their body (same as me) and they keep their shirts on. For example- I even have my own special swimming shirt :P (made by Speedo). Don’t be upset if you don’t get to see his body often, because it’s not that special.

It might just be that he had a bad experience with someone seeing him or sunburn… that happened to me. Honestly what my girlfriend did was talk to me about it and got me comfortable. Now she just takes my shirt off for me lol. anyway talk to him about it see whats wrong if nothing is I would just take his shirt off lol sorry if im not a lot of help good luck. Be safe. Have fun. I use to not take my shirt off im probably the same build as him aswell make sure he knows that you love him the way he is and say something about the fact that you find it attractive

I had this problem with my boyfriend. I was completly shirtless infront of him, and when I went to take off his shirt, he wouldn’t let me. So I put my shirt back on and kept asking about why. He eventually told me that his sternum was angled oddly and he was really embarrased about it and it was very noticable. Hes been self-concious about it his whole life and doesn’t even know how to swim because he didn’t want to be shirtless at a pool for lessons. I talked to him and told him that I didn’t care, I loved him for him, so now we’re good. :)

Could be scars. Could be he doesn’t like his build. Could be both.

I know from experience. I am 29 years old, 185 pounds… and VERY SLIM. No one would ever call me fat, or even kinda fat. But I am by no means muscular, not in the slightest. Genetically and Body Build wise: unless I worked out like a madman for months, or perhaps even years on end, and ate a diet so strict I’d hate life it self, I’ll never look like your basic underwear model. when you take my shirt off I’m very plain looking. And YES, I do exercise a few hours a week and eat a healthy diet; no candy, no soda, no white bread, no alcohol. But all that has left me with is a flat stomach and a flat chest. No visible abdominal or pectoral muscular formations on my body. My biceps are elongated and almost female looking in form. All muscular formations that “good looking men” are suppose to have, and if you don’t… you can be sure no ones putting your sorry ass on the cover of Men’s {insert title here}. So even if a lot people tell me I look “awesome wearing a nice fitting shirt, with my arms slightly bent;” take the shirt off and unfold my arms… and you have nothing eye catching… save for a wide number of scars that I got working private security overseas, but that’s not appealing to too many people, least of all me. Imagine a slim girl, of age 25, who looks great in a tight, scoop neck shirt, and a padded push-up-bra, then she gets naked and her breasts make her look 9 years old. Society sure hasn’t left her feeling good about herself. And it hasn’t left me and many man feeling good about ourselves. I virtually never look in the mirror at my body. Sure, I’ll get naked in front of my wife. And she loves me very much, but I know by her eyes and body language that she, like myself does not admire my body… nor does she particularly dislike it. All and all, I simply wear a t-shirt 23.9 / 7.

IMO, leave your boyfriend be… of LEAVE your boyfriend all together.
