Why is my younger brother taller then me?

I'm 14 and my height is 5 3 and my younger brother who's 12 is just slightly taller then me,I have seem to have stop growing! Why is this? My mum is 5 6 and my dad is 5 11

not everyone is the height in range of theirparents height. don't worry about it. everyone is different, I REALLY wouldnt worry..

girls grow faster than guys. Thats why girls are tall in middle school and short in high school. I am 17 I am 5'3'' my 15 yr old brother is 6'1'' and wears a size 15 shoe.

Girls have their growth spurt at a certain age (near or during puberty is the common age), I believe this is because us girls stop growing before boys (2 years to be exact). Boys only have their growth spurt later because they reach puberty later, plus they have 2 extra years to grow! When we humans reach puberty, we start shooting up like nobody's business! It's nothing we can help: some barely grow, but some grow from the shortest in their class to the tallest! It doesn't actually depend on geneticsfor everyone, but it's possible that your brother inherited the tallness from your parents (mainly your father)
but don't give up! drink MILK and go skipping and play basketball!
