Why is it that people who are bigger then me always call me hun?

or sweetie, or pumpkin, serioulsy my friends who have like a bigger bodie then me... call me that! and gets so ANNOYING and if I call them that then they are like.. What the Hell?

They probably meant it as a compliment - try accepting it gracefully - it's not a derogatory term.

Some people talk down to others using childish pet names, like kiddo or bud, in the female sense I guess hun would be the equivalent.
