there is this boy that lives in my cousins building and we play around a lot hitting each other but then he starts getting serious like his whole reactions changes and idont know why I dont do anything to get him mad but he does why?

Then keep a little distance from him. Possibly, he got some problem. I hope it's not you (joke). So, be kind still but don't bother him when he seems to be not in the mood.
