Why dose my cat lick my eyes and all over my face
Ok so I got a kitten(sparks) from my friend and she likes to lick my eyes and all over my face and my arms too she claws and she dose this non stop its realy werid my mom said somtin bout salt or sometin but anyother reasons
We also got her a bit early and shes about 1 now and she still dose it xd
The only reason I know if,is like your mom said-the salt.Your body naturally has salt,and so sometimes if you sweat or somehting,your body can taste like salt. The cat might be licking for that reason.
well I have 3 cats but my cat loves to be with me loves to sleep in my bed with me and he likes to lick me lol I asked my aunt one time because she knows about cats a lot because her job is to know about cats & dogs and she told me cats do that because the cat is happy and loves you or just because the cat is happy or likes you. :) I hope I helped you. xoxo

Animals show affection by “grooming”. Primates pick lice and fleas from anothers coat. Cats and dogs lick. If you ever have the chance to see a new litter of kittens or puppies, watch the mother. She will lick their eyes to remove the “gunk” from them. She licks their coat to clean it, as she will do to herself. This continues as they grow and it becomes a sign of affection. Be pleased your cat loves you.
