Girls: why does it hurt after shaving there?

pk please people I need you to be mature about this question, its an embarresing question for me to ask so please don't be rude!!
ok here it goes...
yesterday I was just hanging around as usual and my hairs \/ down there \/ (if you know what I mean) really started bothering me cause they itched like hell!!! then I shaved it and it hurts like way way way more worse than before I feel like there are needles pined down there, how do I make this pain stop? and if this is what it feels like when you do that then try to be understanding cause it was the first timed I shaved down there because it bugged me. and has this ever happend to you?

If you cut yourself it hurts.. and you haft to do it everyday if you want it to stay smooth. The only time I have pain is when I cut it and that sucks but it heals fast.

well that usally happens the first time you shaved down there. and it could be the brand of shavor and possibly the soap. it will be that while for a lil while. but you might have cut it or got razor burn.( try lotion and baby oil when shaving or shaving cream)

Shaving cream while shaving is a MUST! You probably got razor burn. When shaving in that area especially, be gentle. You can't shave the way you shave your legs. It'll heal in time. There's so much to learn as a female. Don't be embarrased by these questions. You may be helping other girls who are having trouble but don't have the guts to ask.

I have the same issue I have done it 2 times and it hurt and iched like heck both times its not for me buttt. my soluition might work 4 you. I fade mine really low you no like how boys get their hair cut not shaved but close to the head ands its smooth with out razer bumps or burn well yeah and I use my husbands mustash clippers he dont no that lol

use shaving cream that helps a lot.
the area down there is already more sensitive than other areas, so that could be a reason why. after a few times it shouldn't hurt that bad anymore if you maintain it.
