Why do the crips and bloods fight?

I've always wondered why the crips and bloods fight all over america.

will someone tell me why

Since their formation, the Blood gangs have branched out throughout the United States, with over 15,000 members nationwide.[3][4] Bloods have been documented in the US military, found in both US and overseas bases. form my understanding (I could be wrong) it was all started about racism.

like I think the crypts are against white people or most racist ones or something
and the bloods dont have a problem with a lot of white people or maybe all of them.

and the bloods are called the bloods because they all started as crypts and then the 'bloods' or 'traitors' as the crypts called them, went against the crypts and started their own thing.

and the bloods call the crypts 'crabs' because you knwo how crabs will all help each other out to get out of a tank or something, but then when one of them do, they pull them back down.

(p.s.s the bloods were red and I think the crypts were blue, I have a friend that claims he's a 'crypt' so he shaves off 3 lines at the end of each eyebrow)

They fight because thats all they know how to do. Because they dont get along with each other. Just because they live in different nieghborhoods. Some fight just to look cool or to prove that they are tough

It did start with racism - although that is not the reason anymore.

The crips and the bloods - are similar to two rivaling football teams. Everyone has a rival.

When it comes to gang - the reason they fight the most is because of territory. They claim certain places as theirs - as when someone crosses their territory lines from another gang -they take them out.

It didn't start with racism. It started with a betrayal between the alliance, from which was caused by a small group of the two who had done some work under the table away from the two gang' notice. A deal went sour between a 19 year old man named Lawrence H. (Crips) and a 20 year old man named Raymond S. (Pirus) Whereso the Pirus member and two suspects shot Lawrence H. and two of his comrades. One had gotten to safety and reported this to a higherarch which then accused the Pirus group of these acts, which they denied, due to the members of Pirus not sharing this event with their own members. This started the Crips in their own mission of retribution against the Pirus members who unknowingly were guilty, and so they retaliated back and forth... So on goes in current times. The accusations were found to be true in future trial of the victim's families (sided by other witnesses), versus the killers. Though, too much blood was shed to just throw it away. Too many people were hurt and seeked revenge. So on, so forth.

its all about RESPECT. if they respected each other then no fight would happen. but most of them are hot heads and just try looking for a reason to think they were disrespected. and its not just crips and bloods. any kinda violent gang or even biker gangs. the thing they want is your RESPECT

it all started in a gang war betwen the crips and the piru street boys. during this a member of the La brims was killed as a arsalt a bunch of gangs whernt to happy so the all joind up at west piru street in comton and formed a blood aliance.

it was all one day when a guy wearing red told a guy wearing blue he was ugly and they got to fighting.

a lot of gangs are against each other.
