it depends on her priors as to how long she (or he) is stuck in there.
When they go to jail, they go because of ridiculous laws. How long depends on the jurisdiction.
Just legalize it, and concetrate on real crime.
Its a victimles crime but it is still illegal in 49 states. I don't think they get into to much trouble, mabey an overnighter and then they get released, but different state laws vary
They go to jail because someone who's up for re-election wants to look like they're 'tough on crime', so they round up some hookers for the night.
