People treat you the way you let them. If this is your experience then you are allowing them to treat you this way. In fact females are know to be the ones to more likely mistreat a guy for several reasons. One is that they think they can hurt them before they get hurt because they believe what you do. This attitude will ruin many relationships so time to take a good look at yourself.

You're just generalizing, or you simply hang out with the wrong kind of guys.

Because a lot of girls let them, and not all guys are like that. Thats why it's important to know someone really well before dating them, it will lower the chances of that happening.

You may want to rephrase the question to:

"Why do THE GUYS THAT I KNOW lead girls on all the the time"

I also know girls that do exactly the same.

we dont tend to "lead" you girls on...maybe we were "talking" and getting to know you more and thats how how decide if we like you or not to get with you.

I dont think they lead you on unless you let them and if girls were smart enough they wouldnt listen and it is not only boys it is girls too and they probly do it about the same way boys do

Coming from a girl, I know that I take things the wrong way some times and maybe you do too.

Also, as it's been stated, that's a major generalization. There are a lot of guys out there that are wonderful in their own way and they don't lead you on or play or any of those things.

Not to mention that most guys are immature [not to make another generalization].

I always thought that was what girls did, at least thats what I've seen in my personal experience. I've only had one guy lead me on ever. But you are probably asking because you or a friend of yours is getting hurt. Honey, just hold your ground. Don't let anyone have an easy chance at hurting you. I'm not saying don't take chances with guys. But some girls throw everything in just to try to get with one guy, then they get hurt because, well, yes guys are guys and just because they want you one day doesn't mean they will the next. You have to be cautious, stay confident. And try your best to read the guy. If he seems legitimately concerned about you as a person then you can trust him. Just take your time to get to know a guy and he'll eventually show weather he really cares or not. <3 take care hun

I think that It's just how you percieve it.A guy does somethin innocently and there... the girls say he is leading them on.I mean, when the guy finds out that you feel that way , he exploits you( some guys, I mean).That's how it works.
