Why do people say the us is arrogant?

Why do People say the US is arrogant mainly some of our greatest allies.

I do not blame Bush for many of the problems facing the US today. However, I do blame him for the worldwide rise of this opinion you stated.

The Bush administration has been arrogant in its dealings with many countries, including our own allies. The administration casually dismisses their considerations and national interests, at times even becoming ridiculously angry. A good example was Rumsfeld's description of Spain's government as cowardly after the country pulled its troops out of Iraq following the Madrid bombings. This was a war that the Spanish people were overwhelmingly against in the first place. When you have a government that just doesn't care what anyone else thinks, people tend to view that as arrogance. I'm not saying the US shouldn't follow its own interests, but we need to think about the consequences of our policies in other countries.

That being said, I do partly agree with amblessed. As an American living in Europe, I've found Europeans to be very hospitable and friendly people, curious about American culture while proudly introducing you to their own.

Besides, everyone is entitled to their opinion. Not everyone has to love the US.

Don't buy into that 'everybody hates America' lie - the leaders of UK, France, Italy, and Germany, to name a few, are pro-American as well as the majority of the people - they know what America has done for them in the past and are grateful.

Because they are about to elect a active Muslim for President!!! Most people don't know this but Obama's last name is Hussein!!! Hello America wake the F**K UP!!!

The attitude from most countries seems to be disappointment with our government, not with our people.

So Hussein, not Obama, is his last name. I guess Obama is his first name, which would make Barack his middle name. Obama Barack Hussein.

And since anyone with a first, middle, or last name of Hussein is obviously a relative and supporter of Saddam Hussein, anyone who votes for Obama Hussein is a Muslim (aka terrorist).

We had to suffer a Catholic president once. Then we had a Quaker, and we might have had a Mormon. Now, an Islamic extremist...with Hussein as his name. Can't we just have a white Protestant named Bob who drives a Humvee?
