First off its God with a capital G and secondly our human minds cannot even begin to understand where God came from. We are stuck in this everything came from something rut and we cannot even begin to comprehend the vast scope of a heavenly being. There is no answer as to where God came from He just was. Thats why it takes faith. Just like we have no idea where the wind comes from, we just feel and see its effects thats why we know it exists, we don't know where God came from we just have to go by faith. If you don't believe in God then there is basically not going to be an answer thats good enough for you. And just to make things clear being religious has nothing to do with it there are a whole bunch of religious people that are still going to hell.

Read the Bible. God is the Alpha and the Omega. The beginning and the end. He wasn't created. He has just always been there. It boggles my mind also. Like, what did he do before creating Earth. Stuff like that. But, nobody created him.

God is not real... that is in a human form or anything that resembles a person/supreme being! Religion is just a set of guidelines in which people are brainwashed to follow. Without religion chaos would run the streets and people would be every man/woman for themselves. We've reached a point in our society though where people no longer realize fact and fiction thus causing tumultous wars between groups of people whether physical or mental. Either or they are still bad! Go to Zeitgeist.com and watch the movie... it is biased in a sense but uses facts not many people think of!

Our limited human minds cannot begin to encompass a being as grandiose and beautiful as our God. He has always existed and will always exist. That is just something our minds cannot wrap around. To us, everything has a beginning and an end. God does not.

Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God(Psalm 90:2).

Your throne is established from of old; Thou art from everlasting (Psalm 93:2).

Always was, is, and will be.

first off it god, beuz there's more than 1 god god does have a name other than god.
God is a being not a name, live with it.

God created Satin, how screwy is that.
lol
What created God?
Dunno, but here's my question, how do we know there's not more than one god
(don't even think about saying the bible says so, the bible was made by man people, deal with it).

You know, it's funny, people are told not to question or think about the bible, just except it, should show ya how mindles you have to be to believe in that.

I don't get why people think they can say, well who created God, and think they disproved religion. Lets look at the universe. How was the universe created? We don't know but we have many theories. All these theories require energy or matter to be present. Well, where did this energy or matter come from? Was it always there?

The point is something had to always be there, so why not God? I am not trying to say whether he is real or not, just giving you something to think on.

Yes God created the angel Lucifer who later became Satan.

The universe can not have been created, since that violates conservation of energy, and also implies a time when time did not exist (an impossibility). There is no place for a creator god within what we know about the universe.

This is a good question but the answers can be long. I will keep my answers short for now but you can contact me for a better answer.

1.Who created God ? No one. If He was created then he could not be God but whoever did the creating would be God. God = First.

2.Who created satan? God and satan himself. God created him but He created him to be Lucifer. satan chose to disobey God and thus was changed to satan.

Do a word study on the names, it will help.

Nothing finite can be infinite (eternal). Since the universe is made of finite things (matter, time, space), it therefor must be created by something without time (timeless), thus making it eternal. If it is eternal, it must be infinite, and if its the Creator, it must be God.

The universe changes, and time is the measure of change. How many changes have happened before right now? If you claim an infinite number of changes (which is impossible because you can not have an infinite amount of finite things), it is a logically impossible to conclude we could ever have reached this moment in time. In a world of cause and effect (which we live in), there can not be an infinite regress (an infinite amount of cause and effect reactions to get to a certain cause).

Allow me to rephrase. Imagine that the Earth orbits the sun every 365 days (it does). Now, on Mars, a year is much longer than an Earth year, being 687 Earth days (basically double). So, for every 2 years of Mars, Earth has circled the sun approximately 4 times. Now, imagine that this has been going on for eternity. By your logic, they would both have circled the sun the exact same amount of times, because its been going on forever (this is clearly impossible). This shows the impossibility of an infinite regress, whereby there could not have been an infinite amount of (x) before right now, in a finite universe based on time.

Now, back to God. God exists outside of time, in Eternity. God created time, and time is irrelevant to Him. God is Eternal, not created. Firstly, you have 2 choices; either everything came from nothing (which is impossible), or something always existed and created us. You have no other choice. Take a moment to think about that, remembering that it can not exist in time, that would be impossible. Time can not be eternal.

This thing that always existed would be considered Eternal, having transcended time, space, and matter, being everlasting, having always existed. If you argue this is impossible, I would argue the contrary; it is impossible for this Eternal 'thing' to not exist, because the alternative is that nothing existed, which could only produce nothing. So, something always existed, and is therefor Eternal.

Now, for something to be Eternal, it can not consist of time, because time must have had a beginning. We exist in a universe of causality, so an infinite regress is impossible; there could not have been an infinite amount of time before right now, because we never would have reached this moment in time. That means time had a beginning, and whatever created time exists without time, beyond time, in timelessness; Eternity.

So, this Eternal Creator, created time, and the universe. This Eternal Creator clearly is extremely powerful, because the energy of the trillions of stars in the known universe were created by this Creator. And obviously, the Creator is extremely intelligent, having created an intelligent being such as mankind and a world in which to populate with it.
