Which will you answer quicker: a phone call or a text message?

My sister gets so aggravated with her teenage children because she can call and call and call, but they won't answer their cells and always have a pretty good excuse of why they missed the call (yeah right lol). But if she texts them, they will...

immediately text back...

why is this?

maybe silent or just busy?.

probly couse they might have their phone on silent some phones only silent calls not texts

maybe because if they answer the phone they dont know what they will be asked or told and they may not want to answer. (if they are gona get told off or somethin?) but if they get a text.. they can read it and decide if they should text back or not. hehe

Probably because they don't want to be caught talking to their mom! Either that or they aren't in a position that they want to be on the phone. If you are actually talking to someone, you can't have a conversation with other people as well. No one has to know if or who they're texting and this lets them do it on their own time and in private. There is not definite reason, but I do that too. I don't pick up my mom's calls, but I text her! xx

sometimes we're too busy too answer and talking on the phone or we're somewhere where we can't answer the phone but a text message is possible

plus I text my mom so I dont have to hear her nag and yell at me at least all I see is the words and not hear the voice that comes with the words...lol

BECAUSE TEXTiNG iS A HUGE PART OF TEENAGE LiVES...I MEAN I THiNK PEOPLE WOULD RATHER TEXT THEN TALK BECAUSE SOMETiMES PEOPLE DONT ALWAYS WANT TO HEAR OTHER PEOPLES VOiCES SO THEY TEXT THEM LOL
