Actually...I bought stock this morning...not much, but all dividend paying ones...
I don't think, however, it's garage sale time...The Japanese learned a valuable lesson, and the Yen is holding up there (they learned to save their money...so their banks HAVE money)...everybody else, tho...has pulled out the printing presses, and are whipping out currancy like political posters in an election year...
That we know, won't be fixing anything...

Where does the global economy go from here?
So the Dow, over 900 points gained. European markets were also up today.
Since this jump was far higher than most people anticipated, it makes me wonder what happens next. Markets will be up and down over the next few weeks and months, since there...
are still many, many things to hash out in the finance and credit system. But Europe and the US are solving this by purchasing stakes in these banks. Do you think that will be a good thing in the longrun?
I can't help but wonder, after seeing what happened in Japan in the 1990's as a result of a government-managed banking system. I'd rather not see the US economy head in that direction.
