Where do babies come from?

Where do babies come from??

Babies come from women. C'mon, I'm sure you know that, but here goes... (practicing for my 3 year old daughter).

Babies are made when a man and woman have sex. Women have eggs and men have sperm. The sperm fertilizes the egg, otherwise the egg is passed out of the woman on a monthly basis if left un-fertilized. So you can understand that not all sex leads to pregnancy, but you would be rolling the dice not to use some sort of protection against pregnancy when you get older and wish to have heterosexual sex.

So what I'm saying will break a lot of misconceptions that you may have learned:

1. Any fertile man can make a fertile woman pregnant at the right time
2. People don't have to love each other to make babies
3. People don't have to be married to make babies
4. People can make babies from before they become teenagers

That being said, its up to you to decide when you want to make babies with the right person. Obviously, if you're asking this question... then its not the right time for you, maybe in 20 years time when you're more mature and can handle the responsibilities.

In the meantime, be careful, be protected, and most importantly, grow up :-)
