When you die, what do you want done with your body?

What do you want to be done with your body when you die?
When I die I want to be cremated. I want my ashes to be spread over wolf pack territory,
my blood pored in a white rose plant(to see if it turns red).
I was thinking about having my heart...

buried under a weeping-willow but I don't want to wait till it rots to be reincarnated so I think I'll have my heart burned too ^_^

My grand father donated his body to science research and I would like to do the same thing.

Both me and my wife want cremation. Seems silly to take up space that could be used for other things for a casket and a monument. The thing is that our kids want us burried so they have a grave to visit. I was suprised one of the times I visited my parents. They never gave me the tour before but in our home town they went to the cemetary and showed me where their parents, aunts, uncles, siblings that already passed were burried. They picked up around the grave, brought or watered flowers, etc. To them having a grave to visit was reassuring so I'm beginning to reconsider my decision.

I either want to be cremated or donate my body somewhere.

I'd prefer the thought of cremation, but it doesn't really matter. I won't be around to care.

I'd like to be simply buried. That way my loved ones will still be able to visit me even when I no longer exist. For my essence shall always remain there.

It doesn't really matter but, I'd hate to be buried, laying there in the coffin, 6 ft under ground and, suddenly, wake up. Someone may have forgotten to embomb me and I still had blood and my breathing was so shallow that everyone thought I was dead. Anyway, I wake up and realize where I am...in a coffin, buried 6 ft underground and that I'm going to have to die in there with magots crawling all over me (I hate bugs), scratching and clawing the sides of the coffin, and realizing that I'm not getting out.
I think I'd rather be cremated, even though, Yikes! It's going to burn. Oh! What a world, What a world!

I have always liked the idea of being buried inside a tomb of my own creation. seated on an immaculately carved chair- again , of my own creation. and surrounded by the tools and weapons I have used throughout my life. similar to the great warriors of old. with carved Egyptian hieroglyphs adorning the walls, and a curse against anyone that would plunder my tomb.

I would like to have a natural burial. I've already discussed it with my boyfriend and parents.

With a natural burial, you are buried in a special area that is untouched. It is full of nature, streams trees etc. There are special natural cemeteries just for these burials. They wrap you in a biodegradable material or a biodegradable wooden coffin. Instead of an ugly tombstone or manmade monument that disrupts the Earth, you have a simple stick or stone marker. There is no suffering to the land due to your burial, and it's much cheaper than other types of burials.

Your body is also not pumped with the insane amount of chemicals that regular burials give you. You are left to decompose naturally back into the Earth.

I would want my organs donated, and probaby be cremated.

I was thinking of donating some things...but the idea of me in someone else is a little hard to accept right now! so im not sure yet

I would like to be cremated ashes be blended with paint and have an artist do a painting of me so my family could really
see me or just stick it in the basement if it creeps em out
