When is the lich king expansion coming out?

When is the world of warcraft Lich King expansion supposed to be released? I am not looking forward to replacing all my epic gear with green items, but I am eager to get a headstart with any of my alts.

So far they've only said sometime in 2008, nothing more specific.

I can't wait to level up to 80, and I am going to make a Death Knight ASAP. Oh and getting all my professions up is going to be a huge pain (the cap will be 450 I hear).

Sigh, nothing like wasting another ton of gold after farming for a month for my fast flyer. Lvl 80 and death knights seem like really cool things, but on my server the horde outnumber the alliance 2 to 1 or even more so farming is difficult when every horde character never does anything solo (I love the challenge and I would be the biggest wuss to roll horde on my server). going to push my guys to get the newer arena gear though, love to gank the horde. PvP rogues are pwnage, and my shammy is leet heals.

I think it's coming out sometime in November.
