Whats the deal with christmas nowadays?

Does it seem like Christmas is comming earlier each year!? It does for me. I mean just today my mom asked me what I wanted...I still have two months. Also, what hapened with all the gifts people used to get? It seems like all people put ontheir lists...

today is technology and money. And don't get me wrong, thats what I put on my list to. But Christmas doesn't seem like we are celebrating the lord, it seems like just another Birthday. Hmmm...I was just wondering about this today.

Also, I know what I want for Christmas, but my mom refuses to get it for me! I want it realyl bad...How can I convince her to give me what I want? Each year we get a budget for Christmas, and I told her that I wanted my budget to be donated to the Childrens Hopsital, and she said No! I'm very saddened about this. I want it to go to them...how can I convince her that that is a Christmas gift for me!

Time in general seems to have speeded up - at Christmas you're right, many have forgotten the Reason for the Season, the birth of Jesus - if you feel strongly about donating, use your best judgement, maybe you could sell what you get and donate with the money...Take care !!
