What's the best way to pierce your own ears?

and what are the risks? do you think I should do it?

In the 70s we used to do our own ears but it came with a lot of problems like infections and scar tissue. Today it is very cheap to get them done in a salon. In fact most salons will give you a free pair of earrings with the piercing. There is no need to do it yourself and it is not recommended that you do.

I have pierce my ear lobes 4 times each just use a clean earring stud and make it out numb with some ice if wished then push, thts all I did but I dun it without the ice! x

I wouldnt take the risk if I were you if you do it wrong or dont clean the needle right it can leave some ugly scars and infections.

My ex-friend did that. But she just was bein dumb about it. I don't know if it was infected or close to it but it was gross. She did her cartilage in her ear and then she, started hanging out with these losers that go to my school. (they do drugs get drunk everynight) And she is only 15 at this time. But she got drunk with her new friends and pierced her nose! I was like how stupid! But she just got her tongue peirced too, but oh well she's not my friend anymore so whatever. I SAY don't you could get an infection or something else! So I would say don't. Best and safest to get it done by a professional. They do it at salons I think. But anyways good luck!

You really shouldnt. You could really hurt youself if you do it by yourself! Ask the people who work at the place where you go to get your hair trimmed. They might know a place, or they might even do it! That's how I got my ears pearced.

I dont think you should buy if you do the best way is to heat a needle and make sure it is a steril one and put part of an apple behind your ear and sitck the needle threw it!

I got my friend to peirce me ears 4 me using a needle steralised by a flame a potato held @ the back of my ear and some ice 4 afterwards

some stores actually sell the guns you use to pierce.
I work at icing and pierce ears all day long
just use gold earrings or stearling silver,
sanitize it and your lobe, you should be good
