What's a really good quote you live by?

My Husband!! lol =D Asked by kisskissme 12 months ago, 33 answers.

I hear of some really great quotes that people live by, like quotes that really motivate or inspire them. I personally don't have one, but does anyone have a quote that they live by and apply to everyday problems??

We get so caught up in making a living - we forget about making a life.

"Face the music... and dance" (Tackle life head on, and run with it)

Don't know who it's by, but I think it's a good one.

Dear kisskissme,
One of my favs is "everything happens for a reason" This has become something I have lived by for many years. My recent ordeal was travelling behind an elderly gentleman on the highway. He held me and a host of people up. It seemed it took forever to get to where we were all going. I said to myself "everything for a reason" sure enough we came upon a accident at a 4 way light. All 4 vehicles were badly damaged. It seemed they all pushed the light...we had missed it by only minutes. So thank you to the old man who held us up...it would have been us. Everything for a reason.
Sue...good luck

Its not a quote I would say I live by, but its a good one nonetheless, the Seven P's:

Previous Proper Planning Prevents P*ss Poor Performance.

(Yes, I know, its the same as "Failing to plan is planning to fail"... but to have a separate name [The Seven P's] makes it that much cooler!)
