If someone insulted you, what would you do?

if someone insulted you , what would you do ? the same or just let it go ?

I personally would ignore it- anyone who resorts to insults isn't worth my time.

forget them if they deserve to be in your lyf they wudnt do that

I would insult them back. even if their tougher than you insult them back you wouldnt just let some punk just call you names. if they want to fight you defend yourself. itll help maybe if you defend yourself then he or she will respect you.

?what the hell? that is not going to work. they aren't going to respect you because you fought them. they are going to kick your butt or you'll kick theirs which always = trouble.

I don't know what I would do. probably roll my eyes and tell myself it's not true.

I probably wouldn't say anything at all and just leave it.
The way I see it, if you insult them back you're just making the situation worse.

why escalate the situation? just let it go... if they persist you could ask why they are behaving like a jerk...dont ask why they are being a jerk--that makes it personal--in other words if you feel you need to go on the offensive you can attack their BEHAVIOR and not attack the PERSON then maybe THEY'LL see there is a better way to get their point across without insulting YOU... hope that helps

Insult back. If they are tough, they at least wont picka fight with someone who is willing to fight.

Forgive them. They know not what they do...but if they do know, there is no reason to stoop to their level...some people need better education. Who knows how some people think or why they feel it is necessary to insult...in their mind it makes them feel better about who they are...forgiving them may help them to realize it is useless to insult you, because you know better.
