What to wear in summer?

I have a great look for winter: Pleated or flared mini skirt with turtleneck, leggings, colorful knee high socks and a long line 40s style jacket, belted. I also like to wear a cropped jacket with a contrasting turtleneck. I add a vintage hat for pizazz. Believe me, this looks great on me. I'm skinny with a long waistline and short legs.

I can't find anything I like as well for summer. The minis don't seem right without the leggings and the layers. Any ideas?

casual dresses you can even wear them with leggins and wedges. you can also wear them over jeans. =)
