What to say to a guy you like if you have nothing to say??

Theres this guy that I really really like. I think he might like me too. Like he purposly moves seats to sit with me on the bus leaving these two really pretty popular girls that he can have in like 2 seconds if he wanted. and we like share seats and listen to his music and I really really like him. the thing is he is sooo popular and we have nothin in common. All we have is music. Im not like a loser but im just not as high as him in the food chain. I want to talk to him and all but im running out of things to talk about and I get so nervous with him that I cant act natural. I’m not a big flirt but I can be pretty flirty on a good day. But like what do I do and say??? I dont even know why he likes me in the first place he like goes to parties and meets tons of girls and we sit at a table with this other really pretty and flirty girl but for some reason he sits with me. I just dont get it. Any help please???

Perhaps he likes you because you’re different than the other girls? Not all guys base their relationship decisions based off of looks, although you really shouldn’t be so hard on yourself! I’m sure you’re just as great as the other people.

In any case, talking about things you have in common are great. You could talk about the music, but you could also ask things like “How are you?”, “What did you do this past weekend?”, or you could compliment something about him. If you’re not sure what to say next, you could also talk about something random and ask him for his opinion on it. Remember to use open-ended questions as much as possible. (This means asking things that need an explanation, which usually can’t be answered with a simple yes or no reply.)

If he’s talking to you, just listen to what he says and ask questions about things he’s talking about. Show an interest, stay focused, relax, and it will be noticed. Don’t over think. :)

Take care.

Sometimes that is how it works. Boys fall for the girl that is different from the rest. When he sits next to you listen, get to know him more and more. The conversation that he starts don’t be affraid to keep it on going and all.
