What to do on your spare time?

what do people do on their spare time? I have been sitting in my house for 10 months with no car no job nothing and bored as hell. So I want to know some things that I can do to occupy myself so I am not depressed any more. please help

read a book, bake, play video/computer games, make scrapbooks, redecorate your room, hang out with your friends and family!

I do pet and house sitting (and hey, it pays!)

I answer people's questions here on funadvice as if they actually give a crap.

I post ads on Craigslist and sell stuff I don't want.

Why don't you have a job or educating yourself? I guess to aid your depression you need to get yourself out there. I do some stuff myself but none of it really leaves me feeling, kind of satisfied and contended, if you get me? I especially like sports, jogging, and playing badminton and tennis with friends.

I like taking walks (moonlight walks on the beach hahaa , listening to music, hanging with friends, and facebook can kill boredom for just about ever.

I volunteer 1 or 2 times a week for Planned Parenthood.
I answer FunAdvice questions.

Both those are great for getting out of your head.
Helping others always leaves you feeling good about yourself.
And it sounds like you need to do something to get yourself involved with other people.

Slavaim I dont have a job cause I have double scoliosis a herniated disk a slipped disk and loosing spinal fluid constantly. I cant get a job cause my doctor wont let me and I cant go to school cause I cant sit or stand for more than 10 minutes at a time..

What I do is I knit dolls clothes it may sound boring but I then sell them on Ebay and make some pocket money! and knitting passes the time and is relaxing too!
