How to make my hair look good?

I naturally have dark brown hair but at the moment it is brown with a splash of blonde on top I am bored of it and want a change! what could I do that would look good without it being too plain ?

Hi,

Can you do it all brown and then blonde strips? Chunky ones. My hairstyle did that same thing, with chunky strips going diagonal so however I part or do my hair the stripes look different.

It's pretty cool.
