Is this 'normal' for an eight-year-old little girl ?

Well the other night I was on the computer [ im 13 ] and my little sister
[ shes 8 ] was on the couch, but when I turned around I saw her with her
Shirt up and she was touching inside of her bra [ yes she does where a
Bra ] but she was touching herself...

in a 'werid' way. So I was just like
''veronica!'' [ thts her name ] and she jumped up quicky and placed her
Shirt down so I was like ''what were you doing?'' and she was like ohh
I fell. So then she just started making it look like she was cause she
Continued jumping around. But other times I've caught her with her hands down
Her pants touching her vaginia and I dont know what to do when I see
Her doing this cause I can tell she gets embaressed. But is this 'normal'

It is normal, and instead of making her feel bad about it, you should explain to her about 'private time'.
She has a right to explore her body, but she needs to understand that these are things she should be doing in her room - alone.

It's very normal. Although you or your parents need to explain to her that exploring your body is something that shoud be done behind closed doors when you are alone. Every child goes through a phase where they explore - she just needs to do is privately.

You need to figure out how to make her realize she should do it privately but not feel ASHAMED about it- don't make her feel like she's gross, or wrong, or dirty for doing that- it's 100% normal. It's her body, she's entitled to explore EVERY inch of it- one part isn't more 'dirty' than the next.
