What song sounds best for me 2 sing? (based on description)

My voice is low and kindof rough. I am basically a tenor who sounds good singing no higher than Muse. What I sound like depends on what I am singing, but I do sound very good singing Breaking the Habit by Linkin Park and also If Everyone Cared by...

Nickelback.
For the American Idol thing at Hollywood stuidios, I wanted to sing Homecoming by Hey Monday. But I dont know if I sound best with that sing.
Any suggestions?
