What should i name my collie?

We got a new pup - a border collie cross - and we can't decide on a name. Please help!
We were thinking : Stella , Meg , Cali , Nell , Bess , Colbie , Tess , Rosie , Poppy ...there's loads of names we could call her but we cant decide on one that...

everyone in the family likes . Any suggestions ??
P.S: Sorry - all my questions are about her!!

haha when I first read the subject thign of your question I thought it said what should I name my Chloe...I was like chloe is already a name, so my answer to your question would be name your collie Chloe! haha

When choosing names for pets, keep in mind:

To pick a name that your dog or puppy can easily recognize

Many animals, including dogs (and cats) respond better to one and two syllable words

So instead of Theridamas they will respond better to the shortened, Terri or Damas

With dogs, try not to give him or her a name that sounds like one of the basic commands (No, Down, Sit, Stay, Come, Fetch,etc.)

For instance, the name Kit might be mistaken with Sit or the name Star might be confused with Stay
