Should i give my ex-best friend a second chance?

Well today I was at my chemistry class... And I have my ex best friend in that class... So we kinda had like a day off during that class so I just stayed reading my book... Well when all of a sudden the teacher tells us that for us to get in groups and...

that we are going to have a party... So my ex friend goes to these people that I know and well they are talking and everything when one of them calls me and tells me if I wanted to join them... I couldn't say no because of my ex friend so I said yes... So now on monday I'm going to have a party in the classroom and I'm going to have to sit with them and everything and actually talk to my ex friend...I don't know what do act like nothings wrong or what? Should I give her a second chance... Cause I have a feeling cause of this we are going to start talking again... And I don't know what to do ... So please give me any advice on what to do ...

I feel like everyone deserves a second chance but it depends how bad the thing was to stop you from being friends.
