What kind of prom dress/color should I wear to prom?

I am a size 8. I also am 5’7” and I have a small chest(A,,I think) anyway, I have a skin tone like Selena Gomez and I have dark eyes and hair. I am wondering if I should wear a strapless ballgown. This is my boyfriend’s senoir prom… I am homeschooled tho, but im still in the 9th grade regardless. Should I wear a ballgown, if I dont know anyone there and if this IS my 1st prom??? Or what about a deep red/burgandy…just a thought…its my boyfriend’s fav color. :P…thanxx 4 ny comments or suggestions…and 1 last thing…should I wear my hair up with sprial curls gently coming down if I wear a strapless gown?? THNXX : )

I would wear burgundy if that is your choice, I would get a strapless dress because that way the dress doesnt focus on your chest. and yes wear your hair down with soft curls, don’t over do it either. black does make you look skinnier though so just pick a dark dress. have fun at prom.
