Legal Considerations:
Not many people are aware that they break the law when they work without fulfilling the basic requirements that involve teenage work. So let us seewhat this is actually. Note this is not an exhaustive list and hence for accuracy you should check with your local guardian or legal advisor (at school or at any social center). Also be aware the each State Country may have different laws that cover teenagers working conditions.
Timings: Teenagers below 14 years old are usually not encouraged to work in offices. For those above 14 and above they should not be working at night. The legal hours are any time between 7 am to 7 PM ' of course ensuring that school is taken care of. Those between 16-19 years of age can be free to work as much and as long as they please. Howevergirls should always be wary and careful when working nights as crime increases at night.
Work areas: Teenagers may work anywhere they can be engaged with the exception of places where they could endanger themselves or others, such as construction sites, repair sites or garages, chemical and other types of processing, mining, messenger jobs, warehousing, adult clubs and bars.
Social security number: There are places where teens need a social security number to receive paymentTaxes: Most of the time teen jobs do not involve tax payments and need not have any dedication in the paychecks. However you need to consult the local IRS to ascertain this.
Each state and country has its own set of rules and what is valid in one may not be in another. Do not take anything for granted. Keep in mind that legal aspects are serious matters and you do need complication with the law. Check and be sure you fulfill all the legal formalities applicable for teenagers before you even apply for work. Ask the help of a responsible adults, such as your parents, teachers, or relatives and seek out the correct answers - no such thing as a stupid question
I wish you the best and always be alert, putting Safety first !!

I am 12 and I think that it is totally unfair that I can't have a real job. My dad is a doctor and sometimes I help the secratarien and I do a much better job than them. I have looked all around the web for a helpful answer cause I need money but I haven't found a single good answer!!! Uggh...
I would sell candy because I'm raising money up for my friend because she is going to Ireland in 8th grade.
I do some babysitting but its hard cause people would rather have 15 year olds babysit or 16 year olds who can drive them places and as 12 its hard 2 travel places unless you ride your bike or you can get your mom 2 drive you sooo yea
All kinds if you really look. I am 12 and I read this page and thought 2 myself that if I could get my lazy butt up 2 particapate in activities that would help pay 4 vacation it would be worth it. sry I write a lot I tlk 2 much... I think that it is hard 2day 2 find a job because of the economy. lol haha
u could do babysiting

I dont know because I am 12 years old and I am still loking for a job to get some money.
Im 12 and I think that kids my age should be able to work like adults do and get the same pay. Because my mom works in an office doing pay roll and when I go to visit she always puts me to work and I usually do better than some of the other people she works with. But here are some ideas: mow grass, babysit, pet sit, house sit, dog walking, car washing, dog washing, and if you can hunt squirrel, coons, or rabbits DO IT! Then skin it and sell the furs. Some people still like them. But im still a firm believer that 12 year olds should be able to work!
im with my friend austin and we are trying to make some money but we can't mow lawns because of liability stuff and we cant babysit or walk dogs because they are vicious
Babysitting does help, it's just a little difficult finding someone steady to go to. A bake sale isn't a half bad idea, as long as your a good cook. You can probably make something unique and sell it to friends.
You can hold doors for stores that have automatic. You can help your mom watch little kids. You can mow lawns. You can water your neighbors plants. You can walk dogs. You can be someones assistant.
well I am buddist (religin) and since we asian people are like, special, me and my two friends got a job. we're like, 12. we dance. see we're special. and there's benifits. we get paid like, $20 a dance or whatev (thai dancing) and we get to travel a lot to awesome places and get into contests and dress up with makeup and stuff. it's pretty awesome. well I don't know if youre a girl and live in north carolina in and around cameron or fayetteville, but if you do then thats good because at my little churchy place, we hire whoever we can because there's only like, 3 or 4 people that have my job at my church thing. we hire american people and any other kind of people. but yeah. sorry to break it to you, but if you're not living in my area and I don't know you, then I guess you don't have a job. or sell lemonade...haha
u can easily be a fly boy means delivery buisness cards or advirtesment or events...go to nearest shop and ask for buisness card delivery...
