What is this song called?!

I heard this song on the radio and now it's stuck in my head! It's really driving me crazy because I don't know the song title or who it's by!

It's an older song... from like the 80s-90s I think and it's a guy singer and the chorus part goes I...

would walk 500 miles and I would walk 500 more just to be the man to walk 1000 miles or something like that. Please help?!
