What is the punishment for simple battery?

I have a problem with my anger management; some guy called me 'gay' and gayfer and stuff like that, im kinda sensitive about that stuff.

I overlooked it the first 3 times, but the last time I lost it and hit him in the head.. he DID have a weedwacker, so I dont know if that is considered provocation.

it isnt boding well that I had a ring on when I hit him. any advise is appreciated

get a girl and prove to them what you really made of and I think you look cute enough to get a girl

It really depends on your country, state and age...you may end up with community time, probation or fines. The best would be if the judge ordered you to anger management classes.
