Q: What is the highest sat score you can get and what is average

What is the highest sat score you can get and what is average?

A: Highest is 2400, average 1500 for the new SAT...if you took it a few decades ago, the score maximum was only 1600 (there were two sections, instead of three as there are now).

A: hrm, funny how late me and junkigal respond. My score was low compared to y'alls. But a 1120 sounds good to me since most colleges I'm looking at are looking for people at least scoring 1050. DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED if you got a lower score! If it's at least at the minimum of the the collge you're aiming for you're doing great.
