dracula actually lived but he wasnt a vampire, he was just a cold blooded killer.
then there is the blood disease that ichibanarky mentioned.
people with that disease need to have blood infused or have to drink it to survive, though nowadays we use medication to act like real blood

Dracula is a mythical being who actually was a vampire. The reason I say mythical is because he is only a story written by Bram Stoker in 1897.
Vampires aren't real, but there is a vampire-like disease, called Porphyria that leaves people with disabilities similar to that which would be suffered by a vampire.
