Looks to be the cheapest way, at least from Australia, is by air. There are some budget airlines that advertise here international air fares for little more than pocket money.

Well by air...use a student card to get a student discount...or fly during low season...or look put for promotions...It's also safer to travel by air...

Depends on where you are and where your traveling...if you are in europe...the trains not bad...
