What is the best way to cut toenails?

I round my cuts on my toenails but someone told me it is better to square the ends. I am confused becuse they seen to get dirtier when they are squared. Which way is best?

I would go with rounded, that's what I do, the squared off ends are going to be more likely to hurt somebody.

Nope, square end are better. If you do round, then you cut right into your cuticle, which can make you prone to infection and ingrown toe-nails.
