What is the best type of deal in a timeshare opportunity?

I got suckered into going to a timeshare sales pitch that had me wondering which deal they tried to sell me was the best deal? They showed me a 'no money down' option that had tons of interest, a half down option, and a paid at once option. I also got to peruse their forclosures. Are timeshares really worth investing in? I got out of there quick, but now I am wondering if I made a mistake.

My parents have 2 timeshares and they LOVE them ! Thay also almost immedialty paid theirs off however. Now they own 2 seperate time shares and they can use them as follows. the condo's come in 2 rentals, full and partial. a Full rental is worth a weeks time and has like 7 bedrooms, a partial is a weeks time and has 3 bedrooms and can be used twice. They have rhis on 2 differrent options so they have REALLY opened themselves up to some good oppertunities. My sister got married and she and her husband used one of the partial timeshares in St Barrts. They stayed a week, for free minus airfare and food and had a wonderful time. Since they only used a week my parents used their other week for THAT timeshare to take us all to Busch Gardens, they still had ANOTHER timeshare in which they took myself, my family and our extended family on a ski vacation. I'm not sure if this answers your question but maybe it gives some help.

That is a classic timeshare sales presentation, don’t worry, you did the right thing, those are just tricks or “ drops” that the closers use to get your attentions and create urgency, by the way , there is not such a thing as “ foreclosure” in the timeshare industry.
The best timeshare deal you can get is in the resale market, 1/4 of the price.
