The MGM Grand I'd highly recommend. We went there on a trip, the rooms were amazing, the bar fantastic, and they had this infinity pool style bathtub in our room. Great experience, friendly service...well, it was Vegas. What else can I say? You can check out the page for their rooms here - http://www.mgmgrand.com/pages/accommodations.asp though truth to tell, you really don't spend that much time in there.
If you're busy, anyway - have fun let us know how your trip goes.
The Venetian. Hands Down. Beautiful, fun, and in the middle of the strip!
I stayed at the MGM on my last trip and loved it. It had everything plus with the pedway across the street to NYNY and the free tram to excalabur, luxor and mandala bay and also the monorail that got you all the way to the other end of the strip I found it to be a great location that allowed me to see everything without having to deal with cabs!
we stayed at the mgm it was great but really all the hotels are amazing there you can't go wrong with anyone of them,we stayed at circus circus or second trip there because we took the kids but we visited many of them I really liked the pool at mandala bay it was stunning and the indoor parade at the rio was fabulous the rio is off of the strip but well worth the trip we got all kinds of mardi gras beads at the parade the kids loved it too. the only one I really didn't care for was billagios it was beautiful but I felt out of place there the people seemed to upity for me. but no matter which one you stay in you are sure to have a great time in vegas also a really neat thing we did was tour the liberace museum it is off the strip to as well as the indoor skydiving it is really expensive I thought and they don't even let go of you to let you fly in there indoor cylinder I would call it.but liberace was great the man loved fine things and showy things he had a car and piano that matched with mirrors all over the both of them anyway have a great time.
