What is the best antivirus?

What program do I need? I have F-Secure, but I think it fails sometimes to protect against Viruses!

it is free & as with any other it must be kept updated to be effective.

A good combination would be as mentioned above AVG Free and Prevx1 which is also free until you get infected. It clears your first infection for free then they have a pay as you infect or license option thereafter. So in theory if you never get infected it will always be free : )

Try Panda or CA Internet Security both are very good. Panda is a little harder to install, but once you do it is great. CA or Computer Associates is very easy to setup and use, if you good with installation then either one will be okay.
