Why do people think Miley Cyrus is so great? to me all she is, is another tv star wannabe who makes pretty girls fell bad because guys are brainwashed to think she's beautiful.. oh yeah so beautiful. She can't even do her makeup and the only reason...

she's famous is her dad. Who worked hard and she's ruinening her dad's reputation. I dont meen to be mean about this but I dont see why she's so great. I know way prettier girls who never get a chance because there curvey and I'm curvey and it hurts because hollwood says curvey is fat or chubby. what happened to the days when guys like curvey girls and movie stars wernt straveing themselves..? Brings me to another thing.. Models.. Why do people make models lose soo much weight I already thinks there perfect enough if there gunna be a model. No one is that skinny unless they have a problem there just endangering those poor girls and guys.

I'm not a big fan of Miley Cyrus either- however, credit where credit is due- I think she's a pretty talented kid, and I'd love to have her vocal range. But that's one of the perks with having a Dad like hers- She has access to music coaches, choreographers, and other valuable people 'in the business'. As much as she's got a lot more help than most of us, she had to put some work in.

Also, Miley is what the masses are calling for at the moment. The tweens want popstars who are around their age group, who they can 'relate' to. I highly doubt the general 12 year old girl group is going to be able to relate to Shania Twain for example. They can't imagine being her, having the same problems as her, or being her friend. Miley is a girl who is a few years older (but not too many years older), and someone they want to be like.

I personally wouldn't label her as beautiful- she's a cute kid, but how often do you see stars without their makeup? Not saying she's entirely fake, but how many people do you know who look absolutely flawless without make up? Some people do, but some people look a little better with a bit of mascara or lip tint or whatever. If a guy can see the beauty of a real girl in front of him (not just looks, but personality too), he's a decent guy. If he's hung up on a popstar, he's not worth your time. Remember, guys (and girls) can think a star is attractive, but that doesn't mean you don't measure up. I mean, my partner thinks Summer Glau is attractive, but he loves me for who I am, wobbly bits and all.

Remember, fads and fashions change. Stick figure models might be the 'in' thing now, but next season it might be curves. Besides, why should you care what Hollywood thinks is fat? I'm a size 10-12, and if that makes me morbidly obese by Hollywood standards, I don't care. If you're happy with who you are, you shouldn't need to change to suit anyone else.

Well she's a nice girl. Anyway, she only shows up in Disney. Miley didn't ruined her dad's reputation. Billy is quite famous now, because miley is his daughter, he would help her dreams or help her to make money. Somehow, I think her smile is creepy. I'm not a huge fan of her, I just like her show, Hannah Montana. She is pretty talented, so maybe she can deserve the Disney Star thingy. well, I really really hate miley cyrus. why ? she is fake and mostly because she pretends to be something she isn't on tv. as you can see, I have proof, she has digusting pictures of herself on the internet at such a young age. she is what I like to call a slut little kids love her, no doubt about that, because they don't see what she is reallly like outside Hannah Montanna. it really bothers me to see, little kids watching her and to see nothing is wrong with her :[ I despise her.

I really hate her. its not even funny.
1) she can't sing. she sounds like a drowning cat, and all her songs are so enhanced by computers you can hardly even tell its a human singing.
2) she's boring. everyone says she's really pretty and skinny, but she's only pretty because she's like 5 so she hasn't had time to get fat, and she's got nothing interesting about the way she looks, she's really mainstream and dull, not unique in any way. im not saying she's ugly, she just doesn't show any personality.
3) I totally agree with anyone who says she's only famous because of her dad. at the audition for hannah montanaa, they would've seen her last name and been like yup, she gets the job even before she walked in the room
4) anyone who is commenting in this conversation saying leave her alone!
