What is public school like?

its asome! some! you meet difrent people and people dont see difrncences in you, they dont care if your rich or poor or anathing they trat you the same and teachers are really fun to learn whit.

Hell no, its fun meeting the different people, who of which come to a neutral ground where no one is better then any body else. I’m outta school and into college and its all been public school stuff, it was fun…

haha no its not nearly as bad as people make it out to be. most school have MAYBE one or two fights a year, and I know they have those at private schools too. Public is just more diverse, and you learn a lot about different cultures first hand from the friends you make!

That’s the same as my school, people come all the way from Japan and Russia to go to my school. And there has definitely never been a fight!

Well, I’ve been going to public schools throughout my whole life so I have nothing to compare it to. In my school, there are probably a fight at least once a month, haha. And some fights are planned. It’s kind of stupid. You get to meet a lot of different people, I guess, and it’s just like. . . school. My school actually has the stereotypical “cliques” like in movies. I don’t know if any other school is like this, however.

Well, I went to public school and it wasnt that bad. I watched people deal drugs in the hallway and a fight broke out every other day. We also had police officers staffed year round, to cut down on fights and drugs. As far as normal people, we all really got along, we werent like BFF’s or anything. Education wise, I wish I would have been homeschooled because with the ‘No Child Left Behind’ thing, the material taught was only to the least smartest in the class, so all of the smart kids were really bored all the time.
