bmi is your body mass index... you figure it out by using some numbers. I cant remember what they are... I think weight and height. basically it tells you if your under-weight, normal or overweight.

BMI (Body Mass Index) is a messure of how you differ from what doctors have determined is normal or desirable. It used exactly two variables. Your height and your weight.
Here is a place to calculate your bmi.

If you go to google and type in BMI (body mass index) they have a special calculater to where you can type in your height and then your weight...this will calculate your body fat percentage. Its pretty standard...so if you have more muscle than the average bear than it might not be completely accurate.

Your body mass index is a ratio of weight to height. You can do the math on your own, it's very simple. I use myself as an example.

Multiply your height in inches by your height in inches, (I'm 5'4 -- 5 feet = 60 inches and then add however many more inches you are to that. So I am 64 inches tall.)
Example: 64 x 64 = 4,096

Divide your weight by that number.
Example: 130/4,096 = .032

Multiply that by 703 to find your BMI.
Example: BMI = .032 x 703 = 22.31

So my BMI is 22.31
then you can check it against a chart

So I'm right about where I should be happy

I would just like to add that it's not always perfect because muscle mass can throw it off.
