Normally I put it with Jerry Springer.
Hicks/rednecks, people who are stupid, annoying and like to drink or start fights.
It usually goes along with the 'country' lable.

It is usually people with little or no education that do things differently than the norm. Referring to whites with no education.

Um. . . . Excuse me belindaleigh but Most Hicks, rednecks and Country folks are not white trash.
Actually white trash refers to a caucasian of little or no moral values whether they are from the sticks or the city and some are very well educated.
And belindaleigh you left out Good ol' boy, Cowboy and sodbuster on your list of labels.
