it might mean ignorance could get you out or into trouble

well look it this way. your enemy doesn't like you. your enemy will do anything to harm you and to cause you your failure. but your ignorance can cause you more danger because you might not know the most simplest things. at this point, instead of your enemy destroying you, you actually destroy yourself. thats what I think.. hoped it helps!!
