What does it mean to sync?

If I sync my ipod to my friends computer and he has his own itunes will my music get deleted?and if so can I get it back?

Your friends music will be downloaded to your ipod, and all yours will be lost if he doesnt have them on his ipod.

never sync your ipod 2 another itunes otherwise it will erase the songs present in your ipod.when you will connect your ipod...a question will come- erase and sync or cancel...choose cancel...else be ready for unwanted consequences
