What does god think of gay relationships?

Christians say he is against gays but what does god think of gay relationships what does god say in the bible about it not christians god

They were NOT destroyed because of their sexual preference lex icon, they were destroyed because of their violence. Jewish people dont think that being a homosexual is against god or a sin. The only place the bible talks about homosexuality is in the new testament, and its NOT written by god, rather by a man who wrote something, and other people liked what he wrote, so they put it in their book.
If god thought being gay was a sin, why would there be other species that are homosexual as well :

I've had loads of religious people tell me that homosexuality is seen as a sin. The Bible has a passage on Sodom and Gomorrah, two cities populated by lots of homosexuals. as a 'punishment' for their sexual orientation, the cities were destroyed by brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven (Genesis 19:24-25).

Now, having said that, remember that the theory is sch that God created Earth and all upon it, including man. Therefore, if he created us, and he loves all his children, he will surely love his children if they are homosexual or heterosexual.

Nice point by miomiomio. We find that homosexuality is rampant in animal society. Why would humans be exempt?

Sodom and Gomorrah were not destroyed because of those cities' homosexual behavior. That's something Christians drastically overemphasize when referring to that story. The cities were apparently destroyed because of social injustice, I.e. how they neglected the poor, refusing to feed the hungry, etc. Ezekiel 16:48-50 explain this. That should, if anything, be a wakeup call to wealthier Christians today that God is much more concerned about social injustice than homosexuality.

That being said, I really don't think the New Testament explicitly condemns homosexuality anywhere. I haven't found a single passage that clearly says, in the original Greek, anything about homosexuality other than Romans 1. And even there, you have to keep in mind homosexuality and heterosexuality were not thought of in the separate terms they are today. In the Hellenic Greek culture, it was perfectly normal for men to have sexual relationships. It's not clear that Paul is banning the act of homosexuality so much as he as speaking against sexual lust in general.

So in my opinion Christians have no scriptural basis for their rabid opposition to homosexual rights.

Satan corrupts what God creates.

Behind homosexuality is a spirit, from the pit of hell.

It blinds a person to who they truely are.

They were created in Gods image, not Satans.

They can be delivered.

By the power of God.

The bible speaks of this sin, as an abomination, because it is against ones own body.

The body is supposed to be the temple of the Lord.

Jesus came to cleanse the temple.

Our temple..

The one not made with hands.

We are the church.

The body of Christ.

Sin is sin.

Jesus came to destroy the works of sin.

He loves the sinner, and hates the sin.

We are to love the sinner, and hate the sin.

This sin is very hard to overcome.

Much harder than, lying, or overeating, etc.

To be delivered, a person needs much counsel, and to be in an atomsphere of love, and not judgementalism.

They need their Christian brothers and sisters to pray for them continually, until they can truly sayWhom the Son sets free, is free indeed.

This, is what he wants for all of us.

To deliver us from sin.

OF every kind.

The only people that will be in heaven, are sinners, saved by grace.

Not of works, lest any should boast.

When Jesus said, It is finished, he meant what he said.

The price had been paid, for whosoever will to come and freely receive what he so willingly gives.

Let us be about the masters business...

Of bringing salvation to the captives.

Romans 1:21-27, verse 27 in particular: Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful.... Homosexuality is described as unnatural. Oh yea and by the way, God is not against gays, He's against what they are doing...He loves the sinner, and hates the sin. Here's some other scriptures:

Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolators nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves...will inherit the kingdom of God 1 Corinthians 6:9,10

In the Bible, God never says anything about gay relationships. The only people characters who address that in the Bible are Paul and Moses.

Guys, I hate to say it but you are wrong. We can too tell what God thinks and says about certain things...it's all in HIs Word. God spoke through Paul and Moses. We're not going to actually hear God's voice audibly in some spooky way. He speaks to us through His Word, through His people, through His Spirit, etc. So if you choose to not believe what His Word and His disciples say then tough...thats why you dont know how God feels about certain things. I mean, seriously, no books of the bible are written by God Himself, they're all written by people He disciples and speaks through. He told them what He wanted us to know, so that we would follow it and use it as our guide. So if you dont believe what Paul and Moses say, then you dont believe the bible, therefore you cant really answer this question.
