What does black poop mean

If you keep getting black poop and diarreha... Whats it mean?

Since you also have diarrhea, I'd suggest that it might be a digestive tract disorder. If it keeps up for a few days then it is very important that you consult with your doctor.

Causes of black colored stools (known as melena) could be from:
- acidified blood
- blood from higher in the digestive tract
- iron supplements or foods high in iron
- Pepto-Bismol or other medicines containing bismuth
- black licorice
- large amounts of spinach or other greens
- blueberries
- aspirin
- other foods dark in color such as chocolate sandwich cookies (Oreos)

But there is also a chance it could be from your stomach bleeding so if it keeps happening you should contact your doctor.
