What do you think are the top 5 saddest films?

I'm curious to find out what films people think are sad (the kind that makes you feel a bit depressed). What 5 films do you think are the saddest films you've ever watched? For me it would be: Pan's Labyrinth, The Boy In the Striped Pyjamas, Flowers...

In The Attic, A Message From Holly and Angela's Ashes. They may not sound as sad as any others, but to me they are very sad because some of them are based on true events (apart from Pan's Labyrinth, which had lots of deaths and The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas simply shows how awful WW2 was). =o(

I dont really know of others that are sad, except maybe Titanic.

I agree blow and stand by me are depressing, also, so is hard candy well its not depressing just ends bad

I so agree with you with 'Flowers In The Attic' that film made me cry : (

Titanic (I think nearly everyone cried watching this film)

The Green Mile (When the mouse gets killed : ( and when he is executed at the end)

Ghost (When he goes to heaven at the end before seeing his girlfriend for the last time)

Gladiator (The ending always makes me cry)

Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (When doctor Frankenstein dies and his creation says He never gave him a name and He was my father. Them 2 lines made me cry)
