What do you think about ufos?

I want to get your opinion on ufos and aliens and such. Have you ever seen a ufo before or think you have. Think you've ever been abducted?

The existence of aliens seems probable, given the size of the universe. The likelihood of some of them visiting us is pretty low - it's a really, really long trip - and there's no evidence that any have.

I've seen ufos, I belive in all this stuff, although I will admit that a lot of people hoax this stuff

I am with Arachnid on this, but I will add, that the possibility of Aliens existence is greater than that of a Supernatural being. If they do exist, we still need evidence before claiming it. After all, seeing is believing right ;-)

You see my point, being human we are prone to error, and sometimes we see what we want to see.

The UFO culture is no different from the bigfoot culture, the Nessie culture, the fairy culture in the UK, the ghost culture, the NDE culture, or the god cultures.

There are no objective reasons to think these things are real. Instead, what we find are groups of people who *want* these things to be real, and so they reinforce the idea among eachother, listen to self appointed experts, and allow the belief to be strengthened by confirmation bias.

I've never seen a ufo personally, but if you consider the size of the universe, then its pretty self centered to think that were the only planet with intelligent life on it, and considering the size and age of the universe, then aliens could have visited us in the past.But I can't say for sure, cause I've never seen one.

ehm I was watching this program one time and there was these people who had claimed they had been abducted by aliens but the people who were abducted never met eachother and scientists and other people did tests on them and they found this triangle metal thing in all the people who claimed they had been abducted and they believe its a tracking advice. it totally freaked me out. imagine being an experiment for a monster. bleh.

Cool, I think I've seen ufos too. I've seen weird stuff in the sky before and I've always been interested in learning about ufos.
